BuffScan's array of sophisticated dashcams captured this police chase, spurred by Roman's shooting, up Main Street.
It looks like ex-police officer Antonio Roman has gone ahead and pled guilty to second degree assault and reckless endangerment..
He is admitting to shooting a teenager in the leg about a year ago believing them to be involved in thieving from area cars - a point which is probably informally undebated.
The shooting spawned the police chase that I happened to catch n' film above after one of the suspected actors, who at the time BPD believed had fired the shots, fled toward Amherst where they were eventually taken into custody.
It looks like he'll be sentenced on May 14 and is likely to serve some real prison time for choosing to referee law and order with bullets on teen jerks. One wonders if next time he'll just wait for the still-and-not-crazy-in-the-head police to handle it.
Sheesh.

The following are fresh listings in the publicly distributed Erie County Jail Roster as of yesterday.
Booking Date 2/4/2025
In providing this convenient aggregate listing please keep in mind the following: Incarceration in county jail does not imply guilt - statistically, most inmates are in fact legally innocent and are only incarcerated pending further legal proceedings. As well, many circumstances including mental health and addiction issues can lead to behavioral turbulence and conflicts with society that result in jail. In noting incarceration status please adopt a compassion-first regard.
For a variety of reasons the given list may not be all inclusive of those individuals actually processed.
