This is my personal WWW repository. It exists solely as a publishing and exhibition backend to other platforms that I use, particularly @DavidEarlPinero on Meta Threads.

The battle to settle a commercial social media platform to work in some kind of tandem with my website here has been an epic one. If you've been following this specific web page for the past six months you've seen this battle raging in the form of me having to edit it between my declaration of choice. Before this, I opted for BlueSky for example.

If this explanation strikes you as insufferably self-important of me, why, I agree that it is. However, I'm trying to live a digital publishing model that capitalizes on the original free and open web while still taking advantage of the fluidity and exposure that commercial platforms afford. I think I may have "invented" (or at least stumbled upon) a digital expression formula that works. I call it the Tandem Digital Publishing Model.

The theme of this repository Explaining Myself is just that. I have forever been a non-affiliating and happily self-isolating personality that people find relating to oddly difficult, even to the point of avoiding. Here and online in general, speaking to the world at large versus interpersonally, is my way of closing that gap.
